I strive to foster students' sense of creativity, allowing them constant opportunities to express themselves through writing and multimedia projects.
Student Voice
My classroom allows students daily opportunities to feel heard and appreciated. Students are put at the core of my instructional model and allowed a platform from which they can lead, inspire, and grow.
Analysis
My students are given the tools, approaches, and context they need to thrive as writers, readers, and thinkers. College-level writing and reading skills are developed with mastery in mind.
Community
Rapport and community are essential parts of a student's high school experience. I aim to provide my students with a trusted adult they can come to for assistance with academic or personal matters. I pride myself on my ability to connect with my students and to unlock their passions.
